FOSTER

Want a temporary roommate?  Foster homes are needed to help save the lives of homeless dogs in Mason County.  You provide the home and love, and we'll match you with a dog and cover food and veterinarian expenses.   Living in a shelter can be stressful.  Dedicated foster parents offer dogs a second chance at finding their forever family and allows Adopt a Pet to help even more dogs.  Typically the dogs needing foster support are:

  • Young adult dogs needing extra socialization

  • Senior or sensitive dogs who thrive in a calm home environment

  • Special needs dogs (for example, post-surgery)
